Well, Roland Rat took me back (mid 80’s) and I can see a Rubic cube on top plus Timmy’s mallet a Care Bear and a My Little Pony featured on this “You are showing your age cake” by Amanda Fuller how fantastic is this? With the ease and convenience of Wright’s cake mixes, as many of you keep pointing out to me, you can spend more time getting the decorating "Wright"!

Alison Denham made these cute cookies with our Madeira cake mix and added added raisins and some granola. They look so professional and terrific in the tin.  The recipe is adapted from our Chocolate Chip Cookie one, but using the Madeira mix instead.  Alison added lots of bits and pieces instead of chocolate such as dried fruit, nuts etc, depending on what was in the baking cupboard. Also the mixture was divided into 20/24 pieces rather than the suggested 12. - how many left now Alison?

A couple more cakes for us all to admire – firstly this beauty by Jackie Heaton – looks like a Madeira base here Jackie and the décor is delightful – someone is in for a “Wright” treat!

Amazing that so many of you are using our cake mixes in your slow cookers. Here is Nikki Steels' Wright's Ginger Cake mix with added grated carrot - before and after - cooked on low for 3 hours - et voila!  For more bread and cake recipes produced in Slow Cookers at home - click here!

Thanks (always) to Edith for her beautiful cupcake bakes! This time Edith used Wright's Toffee cake mix with a piece of vanilla fudge popped in the middle before baking. When cooled she decorated with chocolate and vanilla butter cream plus an extra piece of fudge and a few gold stars! Edith will be making them again - not because they are so delicious but because she did not get one last time! No surprise there and a big gold star from us all here at Wright's - the flavours of the toffee & fudge go together so well.

Aw Linda we love your balloon cake made with our Madeira cake mix thanks so much! Linda confirmed "This is the cake I made with your Madeira cake mix to celebrate Lakeland's 50th Anniversary. The "balloons" are made of Madeira cake too!" Thanks so much.
