If I had to chose Cake of the Month it would have to be Nicola Wood's who made contact with us saying she is “a hobby baker I use your mixes for all my cakes
and I always get great reviews! I just wanted to share my latest cake
with you as I’ve had a huge response on it everyone loves it hope you do
too. Thanks again for making my life so much easier.” Being able to
pop perfect posts up like this makes my job a lot easier Nicola – thanks
for sharing your very magical Harry Potter cake.

themed cake made with our Chocolate Fudge Cake mix in your slow cooker
and also for your terrific Thomas cake made with our Madeira mix – they
have both convinced me to ditch the diet already!
Thanks to Li who has been tempted with our new
recipe for Ginger Cookies made with our Ginger cake mix in our calendar
for November. Li tweeted us “@Wrightsbaking Giant Ginger &
Chocolate chip cookies just Wright with my Sunday morning cuppa”.
Clearly our recipes work well as there is very little difference between
Li’s cookies and ours published in our free calendar!
My oh my Margaret, her “birthday cake for my
Grandson using the Chocolate Fudge mix sandwiched together with
chocolate and hazelnut spread”. It looks awesome and bet it tastes
amazing with the filling used!
I am very good at asking silly questions and did ask if there are many sweets left in the household following
Christmas? Thanks Jayne for letting me post up these fabulous Toffee
cupcakes, made with our mix and decorated with Maltesers, mini
marshmallows and a piece of chocolate orange. The other 2 awesomely
adorned cakes are from our Madeira cake mix, flavoured with lemon!
Lacey got it “Wright” – her first attempt at bread making was “yum”!
Thanks Mr. Dawson who “made this Mixed Grain
loaf yesterday and very good it was too!” – we have to agree with you it
is a mighty Mixed Grain!
It was Sarah’s first time using a Wright's
Baking mix and she “made a tray bake from the Chocolate Fudge cake mix,
decorated it with pink butter cream and liberally sprinkled by my 3 year
old daughter. Delish!” – so many of us love to see the younger
generation getting involved with baking and decorating. Perfectly pink
for a dear little girl – thanks Sarah.
Last month I was in contact with fellow baker Mike Armstrong - you can find him on Facebook as Baker Mike and as he had a little spare time he did a few trials for us and simply stunned us with the following recipes:
Firstly there was the Cobbler made with our Strong White Flour - served plain and then baked with a stew.
Then there was the Ginger cake with a fashionable Salted Caramel topping!
His very moist and lemony Wright's Madeira cake with Poppy Seeds was next.
Followed by his Carrot & Walnut Cake here!
His bread is "Wright" good too! He likes to always give his bread a dark crust and glaze with butter once baked.
Kevin created a lovely pizza using our Parmesan & Sundried Tomato mix and used it in a sourdough basket which is very effective!
Finally - Jackie's Madeira cupcakes! Yes the butter cream queen strikes again with these delightful little daiseys of chocolate buttons.
