This Brownie Mix is about time! Over the years we have put a twist on our various mixes to create pretty much everything in the baking line from Bakewells to banoffees and now brownies!
Its #NationalBundtDay and a Bundt cake can be any cake that is baked in a Bundt pan, forming it into a distinctive ring shape. The shape of the Bundt pan was originally inspired by the traditional European fruit cake known as Gugelhupf. It was in the 1950s and 1960s that the style became more popular after the manufacturer Nordic Ware trademarked the name “Bundt”.
During the early 1960’s sales were so slow that Nordic Ware considered discontinuing it. Then in a 1963 Good Housekeeping Cookbook, the Bundt pan was featured and sales increased. More recently, it was marvellously mentioned in My Big Fat Greek Wedding which gave its fame a real boost! Have a look at our Bundt Hall of Fame here – made with our various cake mixes in a Bundt tin! Deb the Bread

Jo made this in the normal Bundt 20cm sized tin, as our recipe is for little individual ones. This is thoroughly festive though – nice one Jo!For heavens cake!! Jackie tried our Orange Cake Mix in a Bundt tin (9”/22cm) and when cooled, sprinkled it with some grated chocolate orange! And this amazing Bundt, again from Sammie made with our Chocolate Fudge Mix. The topping is simply melted milk chocolate and bronze crunch sprinkles from Waitrose. I have to include a few our own recipes in with this Hall of Fame!
